I’ve got a female dog, her name is Biju. She’s a mutt.  As all dogs I know, she doesn’t like when fireworks start to explode. As usual, at the Christmas night we had a lot of fireworks here in my city, and Biju became scared.

My family was  going to visit my cousin, and when we opened our gate Biju escaped and ran away. My stepson tried to catch her, but he missed her. After that we were looking for her in the neighborhood, but we didn’t find her.

We went to my cousin’s house (we were already late) and I was really pissed off, always thinking about our little dog. When we came back home,  we hoped she could be in front of our house, but she wasn’t.

My kids were very depressed, they love that dog. But, fortunately, one hour later she appeared, barking in front of  our gate. She was soaking wet, but she had no wounds. For me, it was the best gift I could ever receive.

The Bourne Identity (Bantam Books)

He has no past. And he may have no future.

Despite very few exceptions, it has been usual to say that books are better than movies based on them.  I haven’t finished “The Bourne Identity” yet, but I think it confirms that rule. In the movie, Jason Bourne seems a super hero,  using his former killer skills with almost no training.  In the Ludlum’s book, we can see all stages  since he was rescued from the sea. He seems a human and he feels pain, hunger and fear.  Ludlum is very descriptive, giving all details from each situation.

Ludlum wrote also two sequels for the book,  and their names were used by the trilogy too (The Bource Ultimatum and The Bourne Supremacy).  There are two more books written after Ludlum’s death.

Hi, there! First, I still don’t know what I would like to write on a blog. My first goal is to improve my writing skills in English, so you should expect no central theme here. Actually, you mustn’t expect anything from here.

Wait.. Perhaps there’s one thing you can surely expect to see here: a lot of grammar and vocabulary mistakes! Don’t forget I’m still learning.

know a man, his face seems pulled and tense

and now i rub my eyes, for he has returned
seems my preconceptions are what should have been burned
for he still smiles…
and he’s still strong
nothing’s changed, but the surrounding bullshit that has grown
and now he’s home
and we’re laughing like we always did
my same old, same old friend
until a quarter-to-ten
i saw the strain creep in
he seems distracted and i know just what is gonna happen next
before his first step
he’s off again
